How we got started
My name is Terri Toulze -AKA- TeeTee and I am the person behind TTCATS cattery.
My entire life I grew up with rescued cats, Maine Coon mixes, and when I was older living out on my own I was NEVER in a position to have my very own cat.
That all changed in the year 2000 when I married the man of my dreams who also shared the same values and dreams as I did. A couple years after being married we adopted 5 beautiful children, and then we decided to take in some rescued pregnant cats. My entire family enjoyed all that had come with the raising of kittens, and the last rescue pregnant cat we took in was a pregnant Maine Coon Calico mix. After re-homing of Kitkat and her babies I decided I no longer wanted to rescue, but I wanted to become a cat breeder. We all realized how much we missed Kitkat and it didn't take us long to realize that we definitely wanted to breed the Maine Coon cat exclusively so in 2008 we began breeding Maine Coon's and TTCAT'S Cattery was born.
Our cats are raised indoors and our kittens are raised underfoot, NOT in cages. They come well socialized with the assistance of my children, our two indoor dogs, and our kittens are handled daily since birth by me.
Our kittens come in a variety of colors, and of course our goal is to produce healthy kittens with large bone structure and Lynx tipped ears. With each and every litter we strive to come closer and closer to the "PERFECT" Maine Coon in disposition and physical appearance!
We are located in the East Bay Area just 30 minutes east from San Francisco, 1 hour south of Sacramento, and right off highway 880 & 92.
All our breeder's are registered with TICA (The International Cat Association) or CFA (Cat Fancier's Association), and are FIV,FELV,FIP negative and screened for HCM and all are negative for that gene.
All our kittens are sold on contract, come with a 1 year health guarantee, kitten packet, vet record, age appropriate shots, fecal results from vet showing Negative for parasites (No coccidia, giardia) blood combo test showing also Negative for FIV/FEL. TTCAT'S also promises to give a lifetime of support and friendship to each and every family.
